<description>&lt;p&gt;Jobholders at this level will personally deliver a range of training courses covering technical subjects,  supervisory and management studies and will make some input to course design and evaluation.

&lt;br /&gt;KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
&lt;br /&gt; 
&lt;br /&gt; Deliver pre-designed training courses,  mainly to technical,  professional and managerial staff,    ensuring that quality,  time and volume requirements are met.

&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;Apply training techniques to maintain a high level of user expertise in the relevant business or knowledge area in order to keep up to date with best practice and enhance their effectiveness at work.
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;Support attendees after training,  where necessary,  so that the skills and knowledge gained are effectively put into practice in the work place.
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;Administer courses and course programs efficiently,  ensuring all attendees are registered and necessary evaluation forms are completed and returned for post course analysis.
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;Apply practical experience in the delivery of training in order to assist the Training Design unit in the identification of training needs and to influence and shape course design.
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;Evaluate proposed training solutions and,  where necessary,  run practice sessions to ensure required standards and objectives are met.
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;Gather sufficient understanding about new products
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;systems,  services or initiatives to be able to influence the successful roll out of related training and development programs.

&lt;br /&gt; Manage the effective achievement of Internal Communications and Media section objectives through the leadership of the section - setting individual objectives,  managing performance,  developing and motivating staff,  provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal - in order to maximise subordinate and the performance of the section.
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;Organisation Structure
&lt;br /&gt; Recommend an optimum organisation structure for the Internal Communications and Media section so that resources are optimally utilised and communication can take place in an efficient manner.
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;Budgets and Plans
&lt;br /&gt; Prepare and recommend the Internal Communications and Media section budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified,  rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalised upon

&lt;br /&gt;Strategy for Media and Internal Communication
&lt;br /&gt;Develop the media strategy aiming at the optimum exposure for GACA in the most appropriate media channels.

&lt;br /&gt;Develop the strategy for internal communication (including aspects such as mode of communication,  channels of communication,  events for employees and standards for quality) and ensure it is consistent and aligned with the overall corporate communication strategy of the organization.

&lt;br /&gt;Networking and Relationship Management
&lt;br /&gt;Establish strong professional relationships with media representatives from the print and electronic media and maintain the same for long-term effectiveness.

&lt;br /&gt; Monitor the quality and extent of coverage about GACA in various media channels.
&lt;br /&gt; Prepare press releases and media replies whenever required,  ensuring that the GACA point of view is put forth clearly

&lt;br /&gt;Manage and monitor the GACA corporate website,  provide inputs and ideas to make it attractive and informative and ensure it is updated at all times.

&lt;br /&gt;Manage the release and communication of Hajj communications plans throughout the organization.
&lt;br /&gt;Manage the process of subscriptions to newspapers and periodicals as well as information-sourcing and monitoring to facilitate various other corporate processes such as planning and marketing.
